Full Description
Sept 2004: 19 evaluation trenches (Tr 8, 10, 11, 14-29 - one not excavated!) in single (former?) field prior to dualling of A11 between Barton Mills and Thetford. Results in (S1). Archaeology recovered was limited to an undated possible pit from trench 16 and an undated NW-SE aligned ditch in Tr 20 (S1).
