Full Description
Evaluation and monitoring of groundworks, revealed further evidence of the Roman settlement in the form of ditches and pits containing animal remains and pottery, although the activity appeared to be less dense than to the south. The N-S and E-W ditches conform to the alignments within the main settlement, and may form part of a larger enclosure, while E-W ditches seen beyond the possible settlement edge may indicate fields outside the settlement (S1).
Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2007 (S2) .
