Full Description

1999: evaluation of proposed primary school site on part of former airfield (see IPS 427 & IPS 613). Two trenches - 1 ditch with a 1st Century Roman potsherd, and 2 undated postholes found. Details in (S1).

2000: Monitoring of groundworks, confimed the findings of the previous evaluation of a ditch (S2).

Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 1999 (S3).
