Full Description

Evaluation in advance of a farm reservoir revealed pottery of prehistoric (Later Bronze Age / Iron Age), Roman and medieval date was found in the deeply ploughed topsoil. Probable prehistoric ditches, a severely truncated Roman pit and other undated ditches were also recorded (S1).

Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2005 (S2).
