Summary

Monitoring of footing trenches revealed series of subsoil deposits of unknown date overlain by dumps of clay, baked clay and mortar suggesting presence of Medieval or later building in area. Also thick dump of soil containing post Medieval pottery and 3 Post Medieval pits.

2008: monitoring of footing trenches revealed series of subsoil deposits of unknown date overlain by dumps of clay, baked clay and mortar suggesting presence of Medieval or later building in area. Also thick dump of soil containing post Medieval pottery and 3 Post Medieval pits recorded. Details in (S1).
