Full Description

Monitoring ofstrip foundations revealed a large feature in the southern end of the footings which ties in with a relatively recent extraction pit marked on early edition Ordnance Survey maps but may be related to defensive ditches on the northern limit of the medieval town (S1).

Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2008 (S2).
