Full Description
Brewery located 83 Risbygate Street. In Bury St Edmunds. Owned by John Clarke, The brewery was advertised in the bury free press and claimed to be established from 1839 to 1901.(S1)
Found on 1880's OS map between a group of malthouses. (S2)
It was said that the brewery was at number 74 Risbygate but had moved it to number 87 by 1885. (from 1839).
The bury-free-press had the brewery in their advertising section. 23/02/1901(S3)
