Full Description

An archaeological monitoring was carried out at 5 Church Walk, Mildenhall and identified a ditch, two pits, four postholes and one postpipe. Most of the features were undated, but the light fills and lack of organic material within the postholes in particular suggests a prehistoric date. Features from which dating evidence was recovered were post-medieval (S1). Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2010 (S2).
