Full Description

2010: A cylindrical gold ornament, thought to be a Bronze Age bead. It is formed from a rolled sheet of gold decorated with sixteen transverse embossed grooves. The bead has suffered a certain amount of crush damage. It measures 15.1mm in length and 5.34mm in width. Irish examples considered as Early or Middle Bronze Age though French examples dated to LBA (S1).
