Full Description
Possible ancient woodland shown on Hodskinson's map 1783 (S1). Irregular field boundaries and field names (Upper Queach & Lower Queach, and adjoining Wood Field, S2) suggest location of original wood . All trace, apart from outer edge, which survive as field boundaries, gone by 1838.
