Full Description

An archaeological evaluation was carried out prior to the construction of an equestrain training centre and stable. This located an undated ditch and a pit containing a large quantity of 16th C pottery. The pottery appears to have been deposited in a single episode, which suggests that these may have been wasters from a kiln in the nearby area (S1).
