Summary

A World War Two pillbox with a blast wall protecting the entrance on its western side is visible on aerial photographs and is still extant. Training trenches were visible to the north and south of this pillbox during the Second World War.

Location Identified from Geograph.

November 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
A World War Two pillbox with a blast wall protecting the entrance on its western side is visible on aerial photographs (S2)-(S13) and is still extant (S13). Possible training trenches were visible to the north and south of this pillbox during the Second World War (S3), although it is possible that these trenches were dug for drainage.
