Full Description
Kiln site - late C13, circa 40 yards x 30 yards, on slope north of Poplar Farm.
Basil Brown visited site of David Mace's excavation, and dug there for 2 days in July 1949. Site of C13 clamp kiln with much pottery and wasters. Some pottery, glazed and unglazed, held at SAU together with description, sketches and photographs of site (S1)(S2).
