Full Description

2005: Desk Based assessment concluded a moderate archaeological potential for the later Prehistoric, Anglo Saxon to medieval Periods and a good archaeological potential for Roman and Post medieval periods (S1).

2006: A small number of undated features see report (but incomplete) (S2).

2006: A first stage of monitoring following an evaluation identified a large feature, possibly a ditch alongside Chapel Lane. This work is ongoing. Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2006 (S3). Full report to follow.
