Full Description
Scatter of Ipswich ware (including some handmade ? imitation Ipswich ware) and a little Thetford-type ware. Also l fragment of ? Middle Saxon window glass with a grozed edge and a cane impression. In addition a lava mill stone fragment, a piece of slag and fragments of burnt clay, all of uncertain date (S1).
Geophysical Survey identified several ditch-type anomalies and trends and a region of increased magnetic response. These may represent occupation remains, though no clear pattern was present in the data to suggest substantial settlement features (S2).
