Full Description

2008: Evaluation identified a shallow ditch cut into the subsoil. Finds suggest this feature is probably 19th century (no further details about the finds were given) and is on a parallel alignment with the A143. Diagonal striations were seen across the chalk which were probably evidence of ploughing before the town encorached upon the site (S1).
