Full Description

2001: Seven pits and ditches were identified during a trial trench evaluation. Only one ditch could be dated as post-medieval date. The other features were sealed by the layer of subsoil and therefore are assumed to be of some antiquity. No artefactual evidence was recovered from the site (S1).

Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2001 (S2).
