Full Description

A five storey tower mill at Chilton Street. Built in the mid-19th century it ceased work before the Great War when the sails blew off. It was dismantled in the 1920's or early 1930's and is now a hollow shell. There were four patent sails, a domed cap with a fourtail, and two pairs of stones (S1). Visible on the 1st edition OS map c.1880 (S2)
