Full Description
2008: An undated ditch was identifed during evaluation work on proposed development site. The single ditch is likely to be a field boundary of unknown date. The ditch does not conform with Foxhall Road and early Ordnance survey maps show no divisions in the area that could correpond with the ditch. It is possible that the ditch is part of the extensive Iron Age ditched field system that existed in the area (BGL 037) (S1).
