Full Description

Small post mill, originally erected c.1840 at Whitehouse Farm, Huntingfield. It was moved c.1880 by Simon Nunn and had a roundhouse added by Robert Martin later. It ceased work in 1927 when the sails blew off and was pulled down in 1928. the derelict roundhouse remains. There were four patent sails, two paris of stones in the head, and a fantail (S1). Visible on the 1st edition OS map (S2).
