Full Description
One undated linear feature was identified, running roughly parallel to exisiting wood boundary but about 10m back from it and with a single entrance near the west end.
A second probable ditch survived only in section. Although this may be a medieval or later field boundary it should be noted that it may roughly at right angles to a ditch containing a few late Iron Age and Roman pottery sherds found during an evalutation on the road line to the south (Trench 8).
