Full Description
Scatter of metalwork covering an area circa 100 metres across, found by a farm worker some time ago. Also pottery and tile on field - not seen by SAU (S1). Coins range Vespasian (AD 75) - mid C4 (Fallen Horseman type) and include five denarii (one possibly plated forgery), brooches include enamelled plate types and colchester derivative types. A small sheet bronze face in low relief, silvered, is probably a decorative attachment but might have been part of a figurine.
