Full Description

1998: Archaeological monitoring revealed three undated ditches. Two of the ditches are cut from a level below the windblown sand and may be of some antiquity whereas one appears to cut this layer and is likely to be much later in date. It is probable that they may be associated with the Roman and later settlement to the south west (S1).

Assessment of the potential for the analysis and publication of the archaeologicial finds at RAF Lakenheath (S2).
