Full Description

A single undated ditch was identified during evaluation trenching. The ditch appears to pre-date the 1841 tithe map and may mark the rear of a series of smaller roadside fields or plots of post medieval or earlier date. The lack of material from the ditch suggests that it does not lie in immediate proximity to former settlements. Two struck flints of a later prehistoric date were also found (S1).
