Full Description

Five-storey tower mill, built in the mid 19th century. It lost its cap and sails in a gale in March 1908, after which it ran with an engine. It was pulled down c.1928 but two storeys of the shell of the tower remain. There were four paten sails, a 'beehive' cap with fantail and two pairs of stones (S1). Visible on the 1st edition OS map c.1880 (S2).
