Full Description

2010: Monitoring of ground works for a small extension within the historic core of Walberswick, Suffolk, did not reveal any archaeological features but 8 sherds of medieval coarseware and 5 sherds of late medieval transitional ware plus a fragment of lava quern stone were recovered from the subsoil (S1). Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2010 (S2).
