Full Description
1881: 12ft of brickearth on 2ft of black earth consisting of much carbonaceous matter above shell marl. Fragment of Bos teeth and deer remains were found in the organic deposit. A Late Anglian (MIS12) date is suggested. Further investigation c. 1982 (S1).
