Full Description
Archaeological monitoring was undertaken during the excavation of footing trenches for a single new dwelling adjacent to the West Stow and Wordwell Club. Monitoring identified a Medieval ditch containing a single sherd of Medieval courseware. A few other undated heavily truncated features were also identified. The site appears to have been heavily disturbed by modern landscaping in the area (S1).
