Summary

Three Second World War bomb craters are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs; they are of equal size, suggesting that they were created in the same attack. They are still evident on recent photography, and possibly on lidar, so may still survive as earthworks.

December 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
Three Second World War bomb craters are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (S1); they are of equal size, suggesting that they were created in the same attack. They are still evident on recent photography (S2), and possibly on lidar (S3), so may still survive as earthworks.
