Full Description
Footings for small (3m x 2.70) extension on east side of house revealed ditch (or pit?) fills on North and South footing trenches at least 0.60m deep and 2.1m wide with dark fill containing peg tile fragments. On East side of this was a layer of clean redeposited sand and chalk grit (S1).
