Full Description
January 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
Several undated linear ditch features which are likely to represent field boundaries and a possible trackway, are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S4) on land to the west of Westwood Lodge, Blythburgh. Geological features were also showing as cropmarks in this area, and further cropmarks of field boundaries have been recorded to the west (SHER BLB 059), but it was not possible to determine whether the two sites could be joined as the photographs were unavailable for interpretation.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 29th January 2015.
