Full Description
Churchyard of All Saints Church.
1978: Brick from a tomb in NE Corner of church yard found during watching brief. Limestone 'table top' on brick base.
John Siday [?] one of the 'capital burgesses' of BSE died March 1766 aged 60?
Also Wife Elizabeth died July 1795 [cd to 3?] (30?) in her 90th year.
Dimensions: 211x101x60mm.
Bright red v. sandy fabric, + long > 15mm2 flint inclusions. Very friable/easily abraded. Cause of sand content (S1).
