Full Description

1974: Part of a tile structure (? a collapsed pila of a hypocaust) observed in the side of a gas pipe trench by R Mowat. Rom pottery also recovered. Human remains (probably one skeleton) found excavated out of the pipe trench somewhere in the vicinity (R1).
Near site BUG 002.
September 1985: Fieldwalking by John Newman for SE Suffolk survey found further pottery on small "Field 108" near to River Lark. Rom finds listed as 1 flanged (C4) rim, 21 body sherds and 1 base sherd and 3 fragments Rom tile (2 roof)(S2).
