Full Description
1948? Flint flake implement with "battered back", found North of crossroad between by- pass and Melton - Woodbridge roads (S1).
No Further details. Palaeolithic identification uncertain. There is a gravel pit to the East on the first edition Ordnance Survey Map which may be the source of the find, (S2)
Jacobi regards this as a Mesolithic microlith (S3).
