Full Description
Items found within 20 feet of each other, with a metal detector, possibly part of a dispersed hoard :
a) blade half of a socketed axe (? broken since deposition)
b) 2 fragments possibly from another socketed axe
c) socket and remains of the blade and side loops of a bronze arrowhead, resembling the form of MBA spearheads. Surviving fragment is 48mm long, the socket being 10mm in diameter
d) mouth fragment of a bronze cylinder, 24mm diameter, with a prominent moulding on one side of the cylinder. Possibly not BA
e) flat piece of bronze, possibly part of a blade
f) piece of bronze header waste. (S1)(S2).
