Full Description

1996: Fieldwalking (and metal detecting) survey by Lowestoft Archaeological and Local History Society Field Group by `casual line-walk'. Prehistoric finds from field 46 listed as very thin scatter of 31 flakes, 2 cores and 4 pot boilers.

Also 11 Medieval and 16 plus Post Medieval sherds and 2 bricks and clay pipe stems and metalwork - details in (S1).

December 1996: Illeigble 14th or 15th century penny found on site.

Descriptions of flint finds are broad, dating to a specific period bracket is ill-advised. However, they may be later Prehistoric, based on details of discovery, (S2).
