Full Description
November 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
A modern ‘enclosure’, with an irregular outline, possibly defined by barbed wire, a hedge or simply a scarp, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1943 and 1944 (S1)-(S2); its outline is vaguely visible as a soil or cropmark on later aerial photographs. It may be of Second World War date, but its function is unclear. It has been mapped only by extent.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 24th November 2015.
