Summary

Earthworks and former earthworks of linear banks and ditches are visible on aerial photographs to the north and south of Vale Farm, Sutton. It is possible that some of these could relate to former land divisions such as medieval tofts, although it is likely that they relate to post medieval drainage ditches, additional to those depicted on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map.
