Full Description

2000: Archaeological monitoring revealed five 19th century rubbish pits and a brick lined shaft that was identified as a well or soak-away. Labourers on the site reported a further brick lined feature that may also have been a well, however this feature was not seen when the site was visited (S1)

Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2000 (S2).
