Full Description
April 2016. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
Second World War training activity is visible on aerial photographs (S1)-(S3) as areas of disturbed ground, tracks and trenches. The site was almost certainly part of Woodbridge Training Area (SUT 250). It is not known whether any elements of the site still survive as earthworks; on recent aerial photographs much of the site appears to have been levelled.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 27th April 2016.
