Full Description
April 2016. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
Possible evidence of Second World War training activity is visible on aerial photographs (S1)-(S3) as trenches, a pit and areas of disturbed ground. The site could have been part of Woodbridge Training Area (SUT 250). However, the military origin of the features is not certain; they could instead relate to drainage, and/or the provision of services to nearby buildings. It is not known whether any elements of the site still survive as earthworks.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 27th April 2016.
