Full Description
February 2016. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The soilmarks of a possible circular building platform or levelled mound of probable post medieval date are on visible on aerial photographs (S1). This feature appears to have been constructed on top of a flood defence bank (See ADT 091) of assumed post medieval date, suggesting that this feature is also post medieval or more recent in date. Although note the nearby presence of a medieval pottery scatter (BAW 022).
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 16th February 2016.
