Full Description

A 19th century brick floor of an extension to the hall was identified during archaeological monitoring. Seven pottery sherds were identified, all of a medieval to late medieval date, and some show evidence of cooking. A sherd of German stoneware reflects the know historical status of Cockerells Hall (S1).
