Full Description

March 2016. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
A possible ring ditch of unknown date is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1). It perhaps marks the site of a Bronze Age round barrow, or even, given its rather oval plan, a Neolithic oval barrow. It lies adjacent to a former channel, visible as a cropmark and slight earthwork to its northwest; this topographic position is typical for a prehistoric funerary monument. The cropmark, however, is rather unclear, and could be of geological origin.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 8th March 2016.
