Full Description
April 2016. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
A possible ring ditch is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1). It may mark the site of a Bronze Age round barrow, or perhaps a prehistoric round house. It lies within an extensive area of fragmentary cropmarks (HLY 161), interpreted as field boundaries and trackways, and lies only 75m to the south of a multi-period settlement site (HLY 006), which itself includes a number of ring ditches.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 21st April 2016.
