Full Description

Lowestoft to Norwich railway line. The line is part of the Wherry Lines and the link to Norwich, via Reedham, from Norwich was added in 1847 as part of the Norfolk Railway company. The line still remains in use.

The Reedham and Lowestoft Railway was sanctioned in 1845 as the second stage of the Lowestoft Railway and Harbour promotion of 1844, opening in 1847.
