2016: Bank (c.1.5 to 2m wide, 0.4m high) aligned roughly north-south located c.30m to the west of the ride. Marked on modern and early OS maps. It appears to be part of a group of boundaries associated with a series of rectangular enclosures. Probably post-medieval boundary markers (S1).
February 2018. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
The post medieval to modern boundary bank described above is visible as an earthwork on imagery from a recent lidar survey (S2). As described, it is depicted on the Ordnance Survey first edition 6 inch map, and as a consequence it has not been mapped by the project.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 16th February 2018.
