Full Description

Pottery found in area of Decoy Pond (S1).
Irregular decoy pond (?PMed) with 4 surviving pipes to NW. Also sunken trackways to NW & S (leading to Decoy House). Second pond to SW, see PFM 007.
In 1886 described as `of 10 acres with six pipes, two of which are not now used. Nothing is known with certainty of the age of these decoys...' (S2)(R1). Shown on Bowen's map of 1755 & Hodskinson's map of 1783.
