Full Description

2017: Excavation uncovered a small U-shaped enclosure, along with a further enclosure to the south of the site. This enclosure was finds-rich with large amounts of medieval pottery recovered, mainly dating to the 12th-14th century. Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2017 (S1). Full report to follow.
