Full Description
2018: Archaeological excavation ahead of easement clearance for the East Anglia One cable trench revealed several ditches and a series of postholes all interpreted to be prehistoric in date. It is possible that these features relate to occupation in the wider landscape with further prehistoric activity identified to the west at site 15 and a potential multi period occupation site identified to the south east at site 18. A further series of naturally formed water channels were also excavated on the site. (S1)
